Berthing | Fees
Dunstaffnage Marina is the best location on the West Coast of Scotland due to its geographic position, and tidal conditions allowing access to the North and West at all states of the tide. Being close to Oban with all the transport links to the UK and Europe it has to be the ideal West Coast Marina.
Here at Dunstaffnage we have year round berths available for yachts up to 20 mtrs LOA. Visitor berths are always available and with prior booking and weather permitting we can offer short term berthing for craft up to 25 mtrs LOA. The majority of our berths are suitable at all states of the tide offering fresh water and electricity supply. We supply only D grade Marine Diesel which is Bio-fuel free and is dispensed from our fuel berth on hammerhead “C” throughout the working day.
We can accommodate approximately 180 boats either in cradles or on shores, our policy is to store boats with their masts removed, although recently we have considered vessels stored in cradles to keep their masts up. Water and electricity pick ups are also available throughout the storage area.
Winter berthing is also provided on the pontoons between 1st October and 31st March we offer this at a reduced rate; these are within the area protected by the outer breakwater pontoons.
We have a comprehensive lifting facility operating throughout the day apart from an hour or so either side of low water depending on the vessels draft. Our new Wise Slipway Hoist has a lifting capacity of 40 tonne with a maximum beam of 6.2 mtrs, and our older Wise Hoist has a lifting capacity of 18 tonne and can lift boats with up to a 4 metre beam. We also have a fixed derrick which is used for convenient mast removal and stepping.
